THE MOVEMENT

Past and present, conservation minded individuals have used art as a form of environmental stewardship. Some of the art here has been used for campaigns to save special lands or protect whole places. For instance, Ansel Adams' work helped pioneer the institution of National Parks. A brief synopsis of several artists' work is included below as well as a link to their site.
